White Sage Smudge Sticks are used for purification, often just before ceremony/ritual or to purify sacred objects. They are approximately 4" long and 2" wide and sustainably harvested and wildcrafted on the Chochimi Tribe reservation in Baja, Mexico.
This sustainably harvested Peruvian Palo Santo, or Holy Wood, is an aromatic wood that has been used for traditional healing and in spiritual ceremonies for centuries. Palo Santo has a sweet yet complex scent. The sticks are burned as a sacred tool, like smudging. It has varying purposes but is commonly said to cleanse negative energy. Pack of 5 sticks weighs approximately 2 ounces. Each stick can be used 15-25 times.
Use a heatproof dish or other container. Light stick. Burn for about 30 seconds. Then blow out and let smolder in the bowl. Never leave incense, Palo Santo, smudge sticks, or candles burn unattended.
